Art & Collections Technician
Gareth Morris-Davies
Gareth is a Specialist Art & Collections Technician who oversees care for The Ruskin Whitehouse Collection, environmental monitoring, storage, conservation and movement of items. He also contributes to the documentation, online cataloguing, and digitisation and profiling of the Collection. He works with researchers and curators on site and responds to reader enquiries.
He completed a BA degree in Fine Art at the Michaelis School of Fine Art in 2013. He brings over a decade of experience in the contemporary art world as an exhibitions manager, curator, artist liaison and facilities manager. He has overseen pop-up exhibition projects in the United States and locally and is proficient in both the logistics of art display and handling and in engagement with artistic content. He is also experienced in graphic design and communications related to the online display of art.
