A 19th Century World at Brantwood

During renovations to The Ruskin building, many works from the Collection are on display at Brantwood in Coniston, Cumbria.

The Collection contains thousands of artefacts, from paintings, drawings and photographs, to manuscripts and letters. It also houses natural history and archaeological collections, scientific instruments, coins, ceramics and furniture, and Ruskin’s own library.
